Condoléances: Dear Phil and Family,
We were saddened to hear of Lorna's death, the news of which came as a shock. Pat had been talking to her only a few weeks ago, and Tom was quite upbeat about her condition when I was talking to him shortly after her recent operation. Lorna was a wonderful woman and worthy of the nice things written about her in the newspaper announcement. She will be much missed , not only by you but by her many frinds.
We would certainly have attended the funeral tomorrow but for the visit of our son, Tony, and his young family whom we see too rarely. We will be thinking about you all and will remember you in our prayers.
