Passed away at the Community Nursing Home, Alexandria from chronic pulmonary disease on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Lucille Faubert (née Cuerrier) of Alexandria born March 29, 1920; age 92 years. Beloved wife of Albert Faubert (former Auctioneer and Reeve of Kenyon Township). Loving mother of Maurice Faubert (Marjolaine) of Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Madeleine McMenamin (Brian), Diane Faubert (Frank Wetering), and Hélène Faubert (Ernest Thauvette) all of Alexandria, and Richard Faubert (Joanne Roy) of Apple Hill. Predeceased by one infant daughter Alberte, by one brother Conrad Cuerrier, and by six sisters Alice Harwood, Germaine Dicaire, Marie-Rose Ménard, Georgette O’Connor, Jacqueline Austin and Florida Cuerrier. Cherished grandmother of Natalie Gravel-Groulx (Eric), Patrick McMenamin (Marie-Lou Martineau), Michel Faubert, André Faubert, Hannah Faubert, Marc Wetering (Kiara Iafano) and Louise Wetering (Shaun Potter), and great-grandmother of Hugo, Annie and Joël Groulx and Sean and Elisabeth McMenamin. Dear daughter of the late Alexandre Cuerrier and the late Aurore Taillefer. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Sunday, June 10, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Monday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation towards the purchase of a Pulmonary Function Testing Lab would be appreciated by the family.
