Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at the Cornwall Community Hospital McConnell Site. Lorna Everson of Lancaster, beloved wife of Philip, Loving mother of Deborah Tropea (Peter), Kathy Lucking (Barry), Warren (Beth), Jim (Valerie), Patty Everson (Mike Quince), Tom (Johneen), and Mike. Cherished grandmother of 15. Lorna dedicated her life to service. First as a registered Nurse in Montreal, as a mother of 8, then as a tireless volunteer within her church and community. She lived a life of genuine Christian values, leavened by compassion and care for all those around her. Lorna is predeceased by her parents Lorne Hutchison, and Carmen Warren, and by one son David.
Relatives and friends may call at Munro & Morris Funeral Homes 46 Oak Street, Lancaster (613)347-3629 on Thursday from 2-4, and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Church in the Wildwood, Lancaster on Friday, May 21, 2004 time to be confirmed. Interment will follow in St. Andrew’s Church Cemetery, 2nd concession Bainsville.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
