Please forgive me for taking so long to send you my condolences. I have struggled with my thoughts,since I heard the news about Derrick and then the news about Matante just stunned me. I hope I don't say all the wrong things I wouldn't want to cause more grief than you must be already feeling. Nicole kept asking "Have you visited the sight" I just couldn't bring myself until now, April 3. When I say her picture I cried than a huge smile came across my face,because I remembered all the summers I spent at the Jeaurond's house. Christiannne, do you remember all the trouble you and I would get into and have to go home and face the music (Matante), we new we would get yelled at, and let me tell you, to me when I was little, Matante Claudette was soooo scary. But summer after summer I went back. As I became older that scary Matante disapeared and feelings of respect, gratitude for being so strict with us and a lot of love is what I had for this person. I have never in my life met a more courageous and strong person as my Matante Claudette, nor do I think anyone could ever compare. I will try to replace my sadness with my great memories, and be grateful for havin been givin the oppurtunity to be part of such a "Grand Lady".
My thoughts are with you always

Today was our grand mother's part, she's now with pepere. We all miss her deeply, because she was an amazing person. That woman was a saint, she looked over us like Saint Antoine did. She always asked strength from him, now we can ask strength, because now she's a saint.
Anyways sharing this person with all of you made me one happy girl, because you all shared the same love she gave me as a grand mother. I love you all very much.
