Suddenly at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria, on Wednesday, March 8, 2006. Claudette Jeaurond (nee Cholette) of Green Valley; age 66 years. Beloved wife of the late Aurel Jeaurond. Dear mother of Richard Jeaurond (Micheline Seguin) of Alexandria, Diane Bourdon of Fournier, Lilianne Diotte of Alexandria, Joanne Cardinal (Rejean) Ste. Anne de Prescott, Christianne Labonte (Bob), Serge Jeaurond (Suzanne Poissant) and Alain Jeaurond (Pauline Cadieux) all of Green Valley. Predeceased by one son, Normand Jeaurond and one grandson, Derick Cardinal. Dear daughter of the late Joseph Cholette and the late Clauda St. Denis. Also survived by 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Gerald Cholette (Francoise), Maurice Cholette (Marie), Colette Vachon (Wilfrid) and Odette Cholette. Predeceased by four brothers, Jean-Robert, Edmond, Leopold and Roger Cholette. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. Alexandria (525-2772) on Monday, March 13, 2006 from 7 to10 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 to10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur Alexandria on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at 11am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Claudette, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
