It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father and grandfather. Charles Anderson passed away on September 25, 2008 in his 87th year. Charles leaves behind his loving family; daughter Pamela Docksteader (Brian) of Calgary; sons Wayne (Arlene) of Philadelphia, Donald (Carolyn) of Cambridge, and Stuart (Jane) of Brampton; sister Dorothy McCrimmon and brother Russell (Jean), both of Vankleek Hill; and sister-in-law Muriel MacDonald of Huntsville. He will be lovingly remembered by his 14 grandchildren his great grandson as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Charles was predeceased by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Margaret (nee MacDonald); his parents Leslie Anderson and Florence Fletcher; his sister Eileen; his brothers Lloyd and Keith; as well as an infant stillborn son, MacDonald Anderson. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St., Maxville, (613) 527-2898 on Sunday, September 28, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. A funeral service will be held at Maxville United Church, Maxville on Monday, September 29, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Kirk Hill United Church Cemetery, Kirk Hill. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Kirk Hill United Church Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Charles, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
