Peacefully in her sleep at her residence in Lancaster on Saturday, November 29, 2008. Gisèle Nadeau of Lancaster; formerly of Cornwall; age 59 years. Cherished sister of Suzanne Pender (Patrick) and loving aunt of Marika and Abigail Pender all of Williamstown. Predeceased by her parents, Reynald Nadeau and Rhéa Rose and by her grandparents, Leo and Cécile Rose. Gisèle is also survived by several cousins and will be missed by her friends at Community Living Glengarry and co-workers at the Caisse Populaire de la Vallée, Alexandria. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak Street, Lancaster (613) 347-3629 on Monday, December 1, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Church, Cornwall, on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. For those who wish, Memorial Donations to Community Living Glengarry would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Gisèle, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
