Peacefully at Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria on Friday, January 9, 2009. Keith Milton Forrest of Maxville, ON, formerly of Montreal, QC; age 76 years. Beloved husband of Elise Ellis-Forrest (nee Jennings). Loving father of Linda Forrest-Castonguay (René Castonguay) of Pierrefonds, QC, David Keith Forrest of Alexandria, ON and Sandra Rippin (Mark) of Oakville, ON. Dear step-father of Robert Ellis (Kate) of Sydney, Australia, Janis Ellis (Jim Longo) and Richard Ellis, both of Toronto, ON. Proud grandfather of Andrea and Adam Castonguay; James, Matthew and Megan Rippin; step-grandfather of Trish, Tyler, Isaac, Tess and 2 great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Arlene Kirouac (Darrell) of Oshawa, ON. Predeceased by his first wife Peggy Louise Forrest (nee Miller); his parents John Thomas Forrest and Mary Forrest (nee Lowley); and by 2 sisters. Keith was also a founding member of C.C.A.C. - Eastern Ontario and president of Community Living Glengarry for many years. A Funeral Service will be held at Maxville United Church, Maxville on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 11 am. Relatives and friends may also call at the Rideau Memorial Funeral Home, 4275 boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC (514) 685-3344 on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 from 7-9 pm. A private family interment will be held at Rideau Memorial Gardens.
