Condoléances: I was so very sorry to hear of Violet's passing. What a sweet lady. I will remember her every time I look at the crocheted doilies in my home, but especially every time I ponder my roots. Thru Violet, our family got our reconnection to our Alexandria "Kemp" roots. She shared stories, many that we had never heard before, about our Alexandria relatives that brought smiles to our faces and some warmth to our hearts.
She shared her old photos and scrapbooks with me and helped me build our family tree.
Violet, your spirit will live on in all who knew you.
It was a blessing and honour to have known you.

Condoléances: With sympathy to Violet's family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of great loss. Violet was a beautiful person in every way. It was such a blessing to get to know her. She was a friend to everyone and her door was always open to whoever passed by. She had a warmth and smile about her that you came away with.
We are so glad we visited her just last fall...we live in Windsor, ON. She was always at the top of our list of loved ones to visit... we couldn't wait to see her and share old memories and life stories. She was able to fill in so much of the history of my early life and I shall be forever grateful for all the wonderful stories she related to me and shall cherish forever.
I never knew anyone who could knit the way she did!!! Her heart was for anyone who was poor and needy. It was amazing that even when she lost her eyesight those knitting needles knew what to do.
I know you will miss her...we will too. But I know for sure there is a "special" place in the Father's mansion for this humble and generous lady.
