Peacefully at Chateau Gardens Nursing Home, Lancaster, Ontario, on Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Dana Mary Bridget Ostap (nee Kack) of Creg Quay, Bainsville; age 65 years. Beloved wife of William (Bill) Ostap. Stepmother of Gordon Ostap of Beaconsfield, QC and Jackie Ostap (John Bragg) of St. Lazare, QC. Cherished “Nana” of Emma, Olivia and Lily. Dear sister of Annalee Kack, Hugh, Paul, Peter and John Kack. Predeceased by her parents, Hugh Kack and Clara Fraser. Relatives and friends are requested to gather for a Liturgy of the Word to be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, Lancaster, on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at St. Joseph’s Parish Hall. For those who wish, Memorial Donations to the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Dana, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
