Peacefully, at Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria on Saturday, August 22, 2009. Mary Gertrude “Trudy” Flemming (nee Whynott) of Lancaster; age 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Richard Flemming. Loving mother of Roger Flemming (Gloria Parsons) of Uxbridge, ON, Catherine Flemming (Philippe Parker) of Brossard, QC, and Colette Mactaggart (Ross) of Calgary, AB. Dear grandmother of Tanya and Christopher Parsons-Flemming; Andrew and Emelie Flemming-Parker; and Eleni and Danica Mactaggart. Sister of the late Stephen Whynott (Jenny) and the late Catherine Bissell (Philip). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Lancaster on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 11 am. Interment, Ste. Famille Parish Cemetery, Boucherville, QC. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 544, Lancaster would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Trudy a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
