At the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site on Thursday, August 27, 2009. Emile Ouimet of Moose Creek; age 89 years. Beloved husband of Valeda Ouimet (nee Daoust). Loving father of Ronald Ouimet (Nicole) of Kingston and Gisèle Quenneville (late Emile) of Moose Creek. Dear brother of Gerard Ouimet (Pierrette) of Montreal, Irene Daoust of Orleans, Laurentia Ouimet of Montreal and Cecile Guertin of Hull. Predeceased by two brothers Donat and Lucien Ouimet, by two sisters Laura Daoust and Lucienne Rousse, and by one infant sister. Dear son of the late Moïse Ouimet and the late Rose Emma Deslaurier. Also survived by 6 grandchildren Marc Ouimet (Kelly), Sylvie Young (Jeff), Lynn Seguin (Bernie), Michel Quenneville, Louise Derouchie (Mike), and Denis Quenneville (Marie-Line), and by 9 great-grandchildren Alex, Thomas, Peyton, Daniel, Shannon, Cassandra, Brittany, Merranda and Cynthia. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South Maxville (613-527-2898) on Sunday, August 30, 2009 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Monday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Moose Creek on Monday, August 31, 2009 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Emile a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
