Avis de décès pour Margaret "Peg" Ferguson

At Hospice Cornwall on Friday, February 5, 2010, Margaret Gladys (Walker) Ferguson, beloved wife of Douglas M. Ferguson of Lancaster. Besides her husband, she leaves her sister Merle Sosich of Australia, her brother Kenneth Walker of New Zealand, plus many nieces and nephews in Australia and New Zealand, and her special friend Joyce England of Prince Edward Island. Peg was born in New Zealand and in 1964 came to Cornwall where she worked as a nurse at Cornwall General Hospital until her retirement. She was an active and dedicated member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, South Lancaster and used her literary talents to help write a church history. Peg was also known throughout the community for her artistic talent; especially tole painting and calligraphy. Relatives and friends may call at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, South Lancaster on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 from 10:00�"11:00 am. A funeral service celebrating Peg’s life will be held at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to St. Andrew’s Building & Renovation Fund would be appreciated by the family.
