    Condoléances: Dear Fourney Family;

    When opening the obituary section of the paper this morning, I saw Mr. Fourney's picture. I felt I knew him from somewhere, and then it hit me. Mr. Fourney was my "egg-man". A phone call to my mother confirm this. I have many memories of watching him sale eggs on our street, walking house to house, always anticipating him to drop them; but he didn't. My sister and I always ran to the door to greet the egg-man and fought over who would hand him the bowl and hand the money. I'd often walk along with him to the neighbours, or go get the bowl that were left outside. Who would have imagined that seeing his picture this morning would bring a smile to my face, and bring back fond childhood memories. I wanted to share this memory with you, his family. A simple weekly job for him was a highlight for a young girl on Bryden Street. He was always smiling and polite when speaking with our family and never was in a rush. I was lucky to have known him.

    My condolences go out to the family. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
