Peacefully in her sleep, at the Community Nursing Home, Alexandria, on Sunday, May 30, 2010. Gracia Dora Ouimet (nee Marion) of Alexandria; age 82 years. Beloved wife of Donat Ouimet and loving mother of Richard Ouimet (Monique), Lucille Ménard (Réjean) and Pierre Ouimet all of Alexandria and the late André Ouimet. Cherished grandmother of Sylvie, Marc, Josée, Yves, Stacy-Lynn and Tracy-Ann and great-grandmother of Joshua, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Mathieu, Justin, Vincent and Charlotte. Dear sister of Elizabeth Lamarche of Smiths Falls and Simone Poirier of Cornwall. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph Marion and Corine Ménard, her sisters, Dora Villemaire, Adrienne Groulx, Georgette Laplante and Fernande Brisson and brother, Fernand Marion. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria, (613) 525-2772 on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur, Alexandria, on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Community Nursing Home, Alexandria, would be appreciated by the family. As a memorial to Gracia, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
