Condoléances: To Marilyn, Debbie and the Kerr Family
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you on the loss of your mom. With losing my mom August 17, 2008 I know how difficult this time can be. I have many fond memories of time spent at your home on Regent.
It's hard to lose someone you love, but even harder still
When that person is your mom, whose place no one can fill
May the memories you have of her, comfort you during this difficult time

I'm so sorry that I can't be there to share memories of your mom with you. She was a wonderful mother, wife and friend. When I was just married and a very young 22 I moved onto Regent avenue, upstairs from my in-laws, surrounded by Ernie's family on all sides and down the street, I was so happy to have your mother next door to me. She was, like me, young, English and friendly and we began a friendship that lasted for 54 years. I remember her as a strong, caring woman. She handled all the crises that come with having children - the childhood diseases, the tummy aches, the accidents, the trips to the hospital (some a lot scarier and more serious than others) - with common sense and courage. Of course, she was blessed to have the love and support of your dad who shared her views on raising children and was a very good husband and father. You mom was a smart, down-to-earth, capable good woman and the very fact that all of you have turned out so well is proof of her good example and the values she lived by and passed on to you. We will all miss her but I know you have many wonderful memories to comfort you.
