Peacefully, at the Cornwall Community Hospital - Janet MacDonnell Pavilion on Friday, September 24, 2010. Adrien Hubert André of South Lancaster; age 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Margaret André (nee Laframboise). Loving father of Adrien (Dini) of Gloucester, Georgette Riddell (Rick) of Rockland, Marion André (Harold Blount) of Ottawa, Gerald (Susan) of Stittsville, Jeannine Leroux (George Cameron) of Summerstown, Gerard (Francine Chretien) of Cornwall, Monique Folsom (Wayne) of Long Sault, Maurice of Wisconsin, Lorrie Anne Lynch (Gregg) of Williamstown, Meg Lalonde (Mike) of Alexandria, and Linda André (Jean Marleau) of Casselman. Proud grandfather of 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by 1 sister Simmone DeBelleFeuille of Brooksville, Florida. Son of the late Aldéma André and the late Rose-Alma Latour. In keeping with Adrien’s wishes, there will be a private family visitation. Relatives and friends are requested to gather for a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Lancaster on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 11 am. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Adrien, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows - memories live.
