At the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Friday, April 1, 2011. Thérèse Quesnel (nee Cadieux) of Alexandria; age 77 years. Beloved wife of Adelard Quesnel. Loving mother of Denis Quesnel (Monique) of Alexandria, Gerald Quesnel (Jeannette) of Dunvegan, Marie-Anne Lafrance (Reynald) of Winchester, and Bernard Quesnel of Hawkesbury. Dear sister of Simone Cadieux (Dosthe) of Alexandria, and Samuel Cadieux of Dalkeith. Predeceased by one sister Antoinette Cadieux and by one brother Rhéal Cadieux. Dear daughter of the late Maurice Cadieux and the late Thérèse Carriere. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Monday, April 4, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Tuesday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Ste. Marie de L’Assomption Catholic Church, Green Valley on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 11 am. Spring Interment Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Thérèse a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
