At the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Saturday, July 9, 2011. Fernand Théorêt of Alexandria; age 70 years. Husband of Huguette Théorêt (nee Levert). Dear father of Alain Théorêt (Sonia) of St. Lazare and Suzanne Leduc (Maurice) of Alexandria. Dear grandfather of Brigitte Vachon (Luc) and great-grandfather of Felix Vachon. Dear brother of Georgette Etherington (late Ernie), Mariette Mullen (Robert), Laurier “West” (Darlene Duperron), Antoinette Lacombe, Jean-Paul, Réjean, Romeo, Rachelle Brunet and Lorraine Lacombe all of Alexandria. Predeceased by his parents Joseph Théorêt Jr. and Elda Massia, by three brothers Wilfred, Gérard and Rolland, and by one sister Léa. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Friday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Fernand a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
