At the Parisien Manor, Cornwall on Thursday, August 4, 2011. Valeda Florida Ouimet (nee Daoust) of Moose Creek; age 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Emile Ouimet. Loving mother of Ronald Ouimet (Nicole) of Kingston and Gisèle Quenneville (late Emile) of Moose Creek. Predeceased by three brothers Réné (Eileen of Orleans), Adrien (Irene of Orleans) and Ernest Daoust (Thérèse of Sarsfield), and by two sisters Blanche Proulx and Ida Nadeau. Dear daughter of the late Osias Daoust and the late Eva Lachapel. Also survived by 6 grandchildren Marc Ouimet (Kelly), Sylvie Young (Jeff), Lynn Séguin (Bernie), Michel Quenneville, Louise Derouchie (Mike) and Denis Quenneville (Marie-Line), by nine great-grandchildren Alex, Thomas, Peyton, Daniel (Ashley), Shannon, Cassandra, Brittany, Merranda and Cynthia, and by 1 great great-grandchild Lucas. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898) on Sunday, August 7, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Monday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Moose Creek on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Valeda a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
