Gerald Alexander Flaro of Alexandria, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2011. Beloved husband of Johanne Flaro (nee Leblanc). Loving father of Darlene Novosad (Mark) of Martintown, and Donna Campeau (Richard) of Rockland. Dear brother of Ivan Flaro (Sylvie Bourré) of Alexandria, June MacDonell (Steve) of Metcalfe and Sheila Simpson (Bob) of Ottawa. Cherished grandfather of Elizabeth, Vanessa, Nicholas, Joshua, Kyle and Chancey. Predeceased by three grandchildren Alexa, Alexander and Victoria, and by one sister Florence Warren. Dear son of the late Donald "Dan" Flaro and the late Catherine McDonald. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 7-10 pm and on Wednesday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 11 am. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Parkinson’s Society or to CHEO would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Gerald a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
