At the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, December 7, 2011. Edgar Télesphore Valade of Alexandria; age 73 years. Beloved husband of Desneiges Valade (nee Dumouchel). Loving father of Hélène Curtis (Anthony) of Paris, Ontario, Nicole McCormack (Paul) of Kingston, Serge Valade (Kim) of Apple Hill, and Michelle Valade of Alexandria. Predeceased by four brothers Paul-Emile, Elmer, Joe and Conrad Valade. Dear son of the late Noé Valade and the late Josephine Richer. Also survived by seven grandchildren: Daniel and Timothy Curtis; Andrew and Amanda McCormack; Alexandra, Jacynthe and Jasmine Valade. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday, December 9, 2011 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church on Saturday, December, 10, 2011 at 11 am. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Liver Foundation or to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Edgar a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
