At the Community Nursing Home, Alexandria on Sunday, December 25, 2011. Lucille Desforges (nee Lalonde) of Alexandria; age 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Rhéal Desforges. Loving mother of Denis Desforges (Jocelyne) of Montreal, Huguette Cholette (Ronald) of Alexandria, Gilles Desforges (Francine) of St. Zotique, and Louise Desforges (Sandy Moroz) of Ottawa. Predeceased by four brothers Léo, Joachim, Hervé, and Réal Lalonde, and by three sisters Aline Martinault, Yvette Lalonde and Gilberte Auger. Dear daughter of the late Zotique Lalonde and the late Ida Dupont. Also survived by six grandchildren Lucie, Julie, Alain, Caroline, Alex and Martin, and by eight great-grandchildren Laurence, Guillaume, Clovis, Camille, Florence, Marianne, Emmi, and Derek. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur, Alexandria on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11 am. Spring Interment Parish Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Lucille a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
