Peacefully, at Ottawa General Hospital, on Friday, December 30, 2011. Gerard Defrid Theoret of Moose Creek; age 83. Founder of Moose Creek’s Red & White and Moose Creek Mall. Beloved husband of the late Therese Lajoie. Proud father of Michel (Vivian Abraham), Richard (Nicole Struthers) and Ginette Lemieux (Rene) all of Moose Creek. Survived by his sisters Yvette Delaney (Late Hubert) and Francine Theoret (Ed Lacelle). Predeceased by one brother Emile (Suzanne nee Lalonde) and one sister Fernande Theoret. Fondly remembered by 8 grand-children and 8 great grand-children. Will be sadly missed by his dear friend Estelle Gibeault and family. Dear son of the late Honore Theoret and the late Marie Ange Ouimet. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Moose Creek on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 11am. Cremation to follow the Mass. Spring Interment of cremated remains in Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
