At the Chateau Gardens Nursing Home on Sunday, January 15, 2012. Thérèse Viau (nee Sauvé) of Lancaster; age 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Gerard Viau. Loving mother of Suzanne Marleau (Robert), André Viau (Marie), Jean-Marc Viau (Catherine), Colette Frappier (Marcel), Joanne Viau (Daniel), Paul Viau (Andrew Forget), and Majella Romanko (Morris). Dear sister of Jean-Marie Sauvé, Leona Bathurst (Charles), and Gaetane Beaudette (Wayne). Predeceased by two sons Alain Viau, Francois Viau (Audrey), by one brother Leonard Sauvé (Thérèse), and by one sister Pomelia Lefebvre (Robert). Dear daughter of the late Honore Sauvé and the late Pomelia Brunet. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Lancaster on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 12:30 pm. Spring Interment Parish Cemetery.
