At the Ottawa General Hospital on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. John Phillip Ansell of Lancaster; age 71 years. Beloved husband to Margaret Ansell (nee Clarke). Loving father of Garry Ansell of Lancaster and Nicola Ansell (Jim Clark) of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Gregory and Mitchell Clark. Loving son in-law to Elizabeth Clarke (nee Hunter). He will be deeply missed by his family in England his brother, Michael Ansell (Betty Steere), sister Sandra (David Allen) , brother in-law Ian Clarke (Yvonne), nephews Phil, Rob, Tim, Dean and nieces Heidi, Shelley and Rebecca. Dear son of the late Sidney Ansell and the late Dorothy (nee Crabbe). Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629). Cremation has taken place. Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society/Leukemia would be appreciated by the family. Memorial to take place at Lancaster Legion, Branch 544, 119 Military Road on Thursday, February 2 - 1:00pm-3:00pm. As a Memorial to John a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
