At the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site on Thursday, January 26, 2012. Lucienne Avon (nee Langlois) of Alexandria; age 98 years. Beloved wife of the late Albert Avon, and by a previous marriage to the late Alfred Lalonde. Loving mother of Rejeanne Côté (late Fernand) of Montreal, Claudette Massia (Charles Emile), Lilliane Duval (late Zoël) and Annette Sauvé (late Jean-Paul) all of Alexandria. Predeceased by one son Pierre-Paul Lalonde, by two brothers Bertrand and Lucien Langlois and by one sister Léonie Gagné. Dear daughter of the late William Langlois and the late Malvina Langlois. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Sunday, January 29, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Monday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 11 am. Spring Interment Parish Cemetery.
