At the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Thursday, March 8, 2012. Rejean Edmond Ouimet of Alexandria; age 76 years. Beloved husband of Pauline Ouimet (nee Borris). Loving father of Michel Ouimet of Alexandria, Gabriel Ouimet (Iona) of Lancaster Heights, Lise Ouimet (Guy Westman) of Granton Ontario, Monique Lamarche (Marcel) of Alexandria, Suzanne Westman (Sean) of Lucan Ontario, and Alain Ouimet of Banff Alberta. Predeceased by one daughter Andrée, by one brother, and by two sisters. Survived by one brother and twelve sisters. Dear son of the late William Ouimet and the late Bertha Joannette. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 11 am. Spring Interment Parish Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Rejean a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
