At the Community Nursing Home, Alexandria, Friday April 6, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Robert “Bobby” Derouchie of Glen Nevis; age 71 years. Dear brother of Doris Welcher and Lloyd Derouchie. Predeceased by two sisters and four brothers, Helene, Leona, Norman, Leonel, Gordon and Ronald. Dear son of the late Albert Derouchie and the late Emma Lauzon. Bobby will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Bobby was an avid curler and lifelong Bruins fan. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak Street, Lancaster, (613) 347-3629. There will be no visitation as per Bobby’s wishes. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, Glen Nevis, on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Following the service there will be a burial of cremated remains in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Heart and Stroke Society of Ontario would be appreciated by the family. As a memorial to Bobby, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
