Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, May 21, 2012. Malcolm Munro Dewar of Ottawa; age 77 years. Beloved husband of Beverly Dewar (nee Kippen). Loving father of Laura Dawn Dewar and Dawn Kathleen Dewar both of Ottawa. Dear son of the late Donald Dewar and the late Jessie Munro. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a celebration of Malcolm’s life at the Metcalfe Centre, Fair St., Maxville on Saturday, May 26, 2012 from 12 noon until 2 pm. At Malcolm’s request we invite all fiddlers to the Metcalfe Centre to play a few tunes from 12 noon until 2 pm. A lunch will follow. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Malcolm a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
