It is with great sadness the family of Lawrence Wilfred Gordon Ladouceur announces his passing on May 23, 2012 peacefully at Hospice Cornwall after his battle with cancer. Loving husband and best friend of Marie Ladouceur (nee Kohne). Adored father of Lori Ladouceur of Barrie, Karen Ladouceur of Alcona, Rae-Anne Boulton (Neil) of Bolton, and Corry Tomlinson (Tom) of Schomberg. Loving Papa of Lawrence, Hannah, Charley, Arthur, Robyn, Cassidy, Andre, Evan, William, Thomas and Ty. Beloved brother of Catherine MacDermid of Maxville, Dearna Cholette of Apple Hill, Earl O’Neil (Donna) of Listowel, and Bill Ladouceur (Gail) of Toronto. Predeceased by ten brothers and sisters. Dear son of the late Arthur Ladouceur and the late Mary Louise Pappineau. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A heartfelt thank you from the family to all the staff and special nurses at Hospice Cornwall for their sincerity and compassion in helping us get through this difficult time. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxille (613-527-2898) on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 am until 11 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Apple Hill on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 11:30 am. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to Hospice Cornwall would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Lawrence a tree will be planted in Memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
