It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mary O’Halloran (nee MacDonald) of Kanata, formerly of Glen Nevis on Friday, May 25, 2012 at the age of 60. Beloved wife of Allan and Loving mother of Erica (Sean). Dear daughter of the late Donald William MacDonald and the late Isobel MacKay. Predeceased by brothers Joseph and Sandy (Elaine of Sherwood Park, Alberta) and sister Annie Laurie. She will be sadly missed by her brothers Ian, Dale (Marlene), Gerard (Debbie), Lee (Nuala), Stuart (Louise) and sisters Karen and Jenny (Wilf). Mary will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 2-5 pm and 7-10 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, Glen Nevis on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11 am. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to CHEO would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Mary a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
