At the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Sunday, May 27, 2012. Léo André Therrien of Williamstown; age 86 years. Beloved husband of the late Marie-Jeanne Therrien (nee Jeaurond). Loving father of Julien Therrien (Francine) of Rigaud, Hélène Beriault (Jacques Theoret) of Green Valley, Luc Therrien (Gail) of Niagara-on-the-Lake, and Fernand Therrien (Johanne) of Williamstown. Predeceased by all his brothers and sisters. Dear son of the late Evariste Therrien and the late Delvina Cloutier. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Wednesday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Ste. Marie de l’Assomption Catholic Church, Green Valley on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Léo a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
