At the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site on Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Wilfred Alfred Quesnel of Alexandria; age 78 years. Beloved companion of the late Suzanne LaRose, and by a previous marriage to the late Mary Jane Bourbonnais. Loving father of Wilbur Quesnel (Elizabeth) of Apple Hill, Shirley St. Louis (Richard Poirier) of Maxville, Robert Quesnel (Verna Poitras), Adrian Quesnel (Bonnie Brownlee) and Leonard Quesnel all of Cornwall, and David Quesnel (Donna) of Apple Hill. Dear brother of Vincent Quesnel of Cornwall and Eilleen Mason of Kitchener. Predeceased by one son Rene Quesnel, by two great-grandchildren Daniel and Hailey and by seven brothers and two sisters. Dear son of the late Joseph Quesnel and the late Roseanne Ladouceur. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. south, Maxville (613-527-2898) on Friday, June 22, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. James Catholic Church, Maxville on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Wilfred a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
