At home on Monday, June 25, 2012. Marina Gareau (nee Paquette) of Alexandria; age 76 years. Beloved wife of the late Germain Gareau. Loving mother of Lucie Forcier (Glenn) of Ottawa, Sylvain Gareau (Valerie Wilson) of Stouffville, Vincent Gareau (Carole) of Embrun and Stéphane Gareau (Janice Lacombe-Gareau) of Casselman. Dear sister of Wilfred Paquette (Lucille) of Cornwall, Émile Paquette and Pauline Leroux (Claude) both of Green Valley, Gerald Paquette (Claire), Dorina Massie (Lionel), Alice Dubeau (Donald) and Noella Chenier all of Alexandria, and Marcel Paquette (Gabrielle), Rolland Paquette (Hélène) and Léo Paquette (Noella) all of Fassifern. Dear daughter of the late Joseph Paquette and the late Émilie St. Pierre. Also survived by 8 grandchildren Mélanie, Mathieu, Joshua, Christian, Anipierre, Damien, Liam and Caleb. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Friday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian will be celebrated at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, Glen Nevis on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 11 am. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Marina a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
