At the Janet MacDonnell Pavilion on Sunday, August 26, 2012. John Robert Fourney of Cornwall, formerly of 4th Conc. Lancaster; age 95 years. Beloved husband of the late Eileen Fourney (nee Edgar). Loving father of Lloyd Fourney (Mamie) of Edmonton, and Robert Fourney (Janice) of Ottawa. Predeceased by one son Edgar Fourney (Linda of Westley’s Point), and by two sisters Edna Black and Marguerite McLeod. Dear son of the late George S. Fourney and the late Doretta Roberts. Also survived by 7 grandchildren David, Daryl, Stephen, Ruth Ann, Scott, Sheryll and Shannon, 14 great-grandchildren, and by his beloved friend Joyce Buckingham. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629) on Sunday, September 2, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Monday from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, South Lancaster on Monday, September 3, 2012 at 1 pm. Interment will follow in the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Restoration Fund or to the Rodney Craig Family Trust would be appreciated by the family.
