Peacefully at the Community Nursing Home, Alexandria on Saturday, October 13, 2012. Wyman Cecil Hay “Slim” WWII Veteran of Alexandria; age 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Hay (nee Rogers). Loving father of Colin (Caroline), David (Jackie), Brian, Kathy and Barbara Ann. Dear brother of Hazel Jamieson and Chick McCaskill. Predeceased by one son Steven and by one brother Donald. Dear son of the late Donald William Hay and the late Mary Jane Brodie. Also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Wednesday from 9 am until 10:30 am. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Munro & Morris Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in East Hawkesbury United Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Red Cross would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Wyman a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
