Peacefully at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria on Monday, November 03, 2003. Marie Theresa Justina Quesnel (nee Sauve) of 100 St. George Street, Alexandria; age 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Quesnel. Dear mother of Jeannine Quesnel of Lachine, P.Q., Leopold (Leo) Quesnel (Claudette), Richard Quesnel (Lise) and Suzanne Quesnel all of Alexandria, Maurice Quesnel (Kim) of Lancaster and Denis Quesnel (Helene) of Green Valley. Dear daughter of the late Jean-Baptist Sauve and the late Ida Deguire. Dear sister of Emile Sauve and Mrs. Jeanne Bonhower both of Alexandria, Jean-Paul Larocque (Willa) of Avonmore, Viateur Larocque of Clarence Creek, Mrs. Antoinette Schell of Cornwall and Gerald Larocque (Jacqueline) of Portland, ON. Predeceased by one infant son, Percy, one granddaughter, Glenda Quenneville, two brothers, William Sauve and Henry Larocque, one sister, Ms. Alfreda Sauve as well as one infant brother, Aime and one infant sister, Cecile. Loving grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria (525-2772) on Wednesday, November 5, 2003 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Finnan’s Cathedral, Alexandria on Thursday, November 6, 2003 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Finnan’s Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
