At the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge on Thursday, December 4, 2003. Alberta (Bertha) Ouimet (nee Joannette) of 1900 Montreal Road; formerly of Alexandria; age 89 years. Beloved wife of the late William Ouimet. Dear mother of Lucia (Mrs. Leo Latulippe) and Rejean Ouimet (Pauline) both of Alexandria, Gisele (Mrs. Rene St. Amour) and Simone (Mrs. Rheal Richer) both of Apple Hill, Aline Borris and Gabrielle (Mrs. Guy St. Amour) both of Cornwall, Therese Ouimet of Lancaster, Madeleine (Mrs. Jean Pierre Lafrance) of Cornwall, Bernard Ouimet (Aline) of Alexandria, Rachel (Mrs. Jean Titley) of Orleans, Marcelle (Mrs. Andre Titley) of Edmonton, Alberta, Murielle (Mrs. Michel Titley) of Athabasca, Alberta, Pauline (Mrs. Wayne Cameron) of Guelph, Diane Ouimet and Marguerite (Mrs. Daniel Glaude) both of Alexandria. Dear daughter of the late Mathiaus Joannette and the late Delia Mainville. Predeceased by her son, Roger Ouimet and her daughter, Denise Major, 4 grandchildren as well as 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Also survived by 42 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are requested to assemble in Eglise
Sacre-Coeur on Saturday, December 6, 2003 for the celebration of a Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Ste. Marie de l’Assomption Parish Cemetery, Green Valley. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
