Passed away at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, June 22, 2004. Marie Louisa Pearl Joanette of Alexandria; age 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Lucien Joanette. Dear mother of Yves (Blanche) and Bruno (Fernande) both of Green Valley, Robert of Ottawa, Nicole (Mrs. Brent Lawson) of Cornwall, Raymond (Monique), Denis (Pam), Luc (Joanne), Pauline Bellefeuille (Marcel), Muriel Chenier (Ubald Taillefer), Vivianne Menard (Adrien) and Carole Joanette (Rene Jeaurond) all of Alexandria. Predeceased by her son, Richard and infant son, Joseph. Dear daughter of the late Wilfrid Labelle and the late Albina Cadieux. Dear sister of Mrs. Eleonard Bergevin of Ste. Eustache and Rene Labelle (Georgette) of Cornwall. Predeceased by three brothers, Armand, Rheal and Wilfrid Labelle. Cherished grandmother of 35 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria (525-2772) on Friday, June 25, 2004 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Eglise Sacre-Coeur on Saturday, June 26, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, St. Raphael’s Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
