Surrounded by her family at the Cornwall Hospice on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Alice Gabrielle Léger (nee Pagé) of Lancaster, Ontario; age 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Léo Léger. Loving mother of Charles, Richard (Claire), Michael (Faye) and Daniel (Susan). Survived by her brother Raymond but predeceased by 4 brothers Albert, Henri, Robert and Paul and by 3 sisters Annette Pagé, Cecile Baker and Rita Pagé. Dear daughter of the late Léo Pagé and the late Annie Goulet. Caring grandmother to 10 surviving grandchildren but predeceased by one, Sgt. Marc Léger. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629) on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Tuesday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Lancaster on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 11 am. Cremation has taken place. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations to the Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Alice a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
