Peacefully at the Glen Stor Dun Lodge, Cornwall on Monday, May 20, 2013. Raymond Rose Sr. of Lancaster; age 77 years. Beloved husband of Pierrette Rose (nee Bourdeau). Loving father of Diane Rose of Lancaster, Monique Doré (Bernard) of Embrun, Raymond Rose Jr. (Danielle Rozon) of Bainsville, Jacqueline Rose of Lancaster, Huguette Rose of Ottawa, and Daniel Rose Sr. (Nicole Lauzon) of Fort St. John, B.C. Dear brother Denis Rose Sr. (Micheline) of Lancaster and Colombe Bourdeau (late Jacques) of Cornwall. Predeceased by one sister Rita Scase (late Kenneth). Dear son of the late Alcide Rose and the late Jeanne Dupuis. Also survived by 9 grandchildren Daniel Jr. (Candace), Marcel (Megan), Patrick, Melissa, Kayla, Terra, Robbie, Jesse and Kelsy, and by 3 great-grandchildren Owen, McKenzie, and Abigale. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629) on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Lancaster on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 11 am. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Raymond a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
