At the Community Nursing Home, on Thursday, May 23, 2013. Fredrick Boyko of Alexandria; age 71 years. Beloved husband of Rosemary O’Flaherty, and by a previous marriage to Patricia Boyko. Loving father of Matthew Boyko (Stacey) of Toronto, Marci Boyko-Holman (Andrew) of Grimsby, and Steven Boyko (Jaclyn) of Peterborough. Dear brother of Rose Jach of Toronto, and beloved brother-in-law of Margaret Mary and Patricia O’Flaherty both of Alexandria. Predeceased by one sister Phyllis Boyko. Dear son of the late Nicholas Boyko and the late Catherine Paraschuk. Also survived by 2 grandchildren Nathan and Katie Boyko. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Monday, May 27, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Tuesday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan’s Cathedral, Alexandria on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery, Montreal. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Community Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Fredrick a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
