At the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Thursday, May 23, 2013. Nicole Schmidt of Ottawa; age 54 years. Nicole will be missed by brothers René (Diana) of Ignace (ON), Willi (Wendy) and Manfred of Nepean. Cherished aunt of Mike, Ryan, Eric and Heidi. Dear daughter of Wilhelm Schmidt and the late Elizabeth Schmidt. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. Alexandria (525-2772). Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Nicole a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
