At the Hawkesbury General Hospital on Thursday, May 30, 2013. Francis Anthony Gregory of Alexandria; in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Vivian Gregory (nee Kemp), and by a previous marriage to the late Mabel Holt. Loving father of Kathleen Kearney (William) of Welland, Alan Gregory of B.C, Ian Gregory of Vankleek Hill, Louise Boychuk (Brent) of B.C., and Joann Laberge (Guy) of Hawkesbury. Dear brother of Philip Gregory of Ottawa and David Gregory of Quebec. Predeceased by 2 brothers Robert and James Gregory, and by 3 sisters Grace Bullick, Mary Wilbanks, and Stella Dwyer. Dear son of the late Edward Gregory and the late Annie McGuire. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Monday, June 3, 2013 from 7-9 pm and on Tuesday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan’s Cathedral, Alexandria on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations to the Campaign Life Coalition, or to the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Francis a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
