At home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Ali of South Glengarry; age 23 years. Beloved daughter of Lorraine Smith and Mark Pearson. Loving sister of Hannah, Cameron and Dylan. Cherished granddaughter of Pauline Maurice-Smith, Douglas Smith, Barbara Brauer-Pearson, and the late Gerald Pearson. Ali will be sadly missed by many family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629) on Friday, June 14, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Williamstown on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 11:30 am. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Pediatric Cancer Research or to the Trans-Canada Trails would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Ali a tree will be planted in Memory Woods. A tree grows-memories live.
