At the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Thursday, June 27, 2013. Leita Veronica Priest-Brown (nee Phillips) of Maxville Manor; age 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Thomas Priest-Brown. Loving mother of George Priest-Brown (Suzanne) of Ottawa and Darlene Priest-Brown of Montreal. Dear sister of Vernon Phillips (Audrey) of Ottawa, Finnan Phillips and Francis Phillips both of Greenfield, and Marie Shaw (Ed) of Ottawa. Predeceased by 5 brothers Harvey, Gregory, Edwin, Reginald and Keevin, and by 2 sisters Luella Vachon and Ellerene St. Louis. Dear daughter of the late George Nelson Phillips and the late Frances Esther Harkin. Also survived by 4 grandchildren Brent (Leah), Alexander, Kristin (Slawek), Michael (Marie-Pierre), and by 2 great-grandchildren Brennan and Aidan. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Wednesday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church, Greenfield on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 11 am. Internment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Maxville Manor Foundation or to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
