At his home on Saturday, June 29, 2013. Antoine Plourde of Alexandria; age 75 years. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Plourde (nee Mason). Loving father of Katherine Rehberg (Peter) of Cornwall, Helen Helliker, and Marlene Massia (Michael) both of Alexandria, and Daniel Plourde (Tammy) of B.C. Dear brother of Nellie Savoie (Normand) of New Brunswick, Viola Savoie (Leo-Paul) of Puslinch, Ontario, Ernest Plourde (Marcella) of New Brunswick, Normand Plourde (Patsy) of Pickering, Jacqueline Harding (Donnie) of New Brunswick, and brother in law George Caissie of New Brunswick. Predeceased by 1 brother Jean Yves Plourde and by 1 sister Esther Caissie. Also survived by 8 grandchildren Kristy, Terra, Tanya, Daniel, Jason, Corey, Jamie and Amanda, and by 3 great-grandchildren Katelyn, Cassidy, and Joshua. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Wednesday from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan’s Cathedral, Alexandria on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 1 pm. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to Alcoholics Anonymous would be appreciated by the family.
