At the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Gerald Stewart Johnson of Alexandria; age 75 years. Beloved husband of Sherrill Johnson (nee Wheeler). Loving father of David (Mary) of Chateauguay and Matthew (Tamara) of Whitehorse, Yukon, and stepfather of Pennie, Dale, Tony, Doug and Sandra. Dear brother of Peter and Keith Johnson both of Chateauguay. Predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters. Dear son of the late Peter Johnson and the late Catherine Patterson. Also survived by 5 grandchildren Brendan, Mariah, Emma, Rachel and Liam. Funeral Service will be held in the St. Michael and all Angels Anglican Church, Maxville on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Maxville Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Gerry a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
