It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mamie Catherine Hall (nee Munro) of Alexandria; age 87 years on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the Community Nursing Home surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Lorne E. Hall. Cherished mother of the late Larry (Marlene), Karen Bolton (Courtney) and Heather Kemp (Robert). Born February 14, 1926 in Apple Hill to Sarah Stewart and Hugh Donald Munro. Predeceased by one sister Murdena Scott, and by one infant sister Mabel. Cherished “Amma” to Kimberly Nudds (Kyle), Brock Bolton, Brian Hall, Cathy Hall, Liam Kemp (Jodie), Tara Kemp (Colin), Kaitlin Kemp (Fernando), Melissa Zickl (Steve) and Rebecca Katzman (Barry). Proud and loving great grandmother to 14 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by many relatives in Western Ontario. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Monday from 9:30 am until 11 am. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Munro & Morris Funeral Home on Monday, July 22, 2013 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the North Branch Cemetery, Martintown. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Community Nursing Home or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
